
KCA University marked a major milestone in its alumni engagement journey by hosting the inaugural Alumni CEOs & Executives Breakfast at Villa Rosa Kempinski, Nairobi. On the calm morning of 11th December 2025, before the emails started pouring in and the boardrooms came alive, the KCA University alumni came together for a different kind of conversation, one with a focus on purpose, connection, and the future of leadership. 
Over breakfast, CEOs and other senior executives stepped away from their demanding schedules to reconnect with their alma mater, while reflecting on their leadership journeys. The exclusive breakfast brought together over 80 alumni including CEOs, founders and senior executives, showcasing the depth of influence and leadership within the KCA University alumni community. The turnout affirmed that KCAU alumni continue to shape industries, drive innovation, and contribute to national and global development.
The gathering was intentionally designed to go beyond traditional networking, creating space for authentic dialogue, shared experiences, and exploration of collaboration, mentorship, and impact. From the moment guests arrived, there was a strong sense of pride and belonging. It was a moment for leaders shaped by a shared academic journey to exchange insights, challenge perspectives, and explore how collective influence can create lasting impact.
The Vice Chancellor and CEO of KCA University, the official host of the breakfast, was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Finance, Planning and Development, Prof. Damiannah M. Kieti Manono. In attendance was Prof. Joshua G. Bagaka’s, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs.

The event also marked the launch of the Alumni Résumé Book, a curated compilation of alumni profiles showcasing diverse skills, expertise, and professional achievements. The book connects high-potential alumni seeking career pathways directly to alumni CEOs and executives who can offer internships, job placements, mentorship, and professional guidance. This initiative underscores KCA University’s commitment to bridging talent with opportunity and strengthening career outcomes through alumni-led support.
Growing Partnerships, Expanding Impact
The breakfast also recognized growing collaborations with partners, including Qatar Airways, SafariLink, and YEN Golf. These partnerships reflect the expanding confidence in the KCA University alumni ecosystem and its relevance to industry.
