Edwin is a highly passionate, focused and numerical finance and certified public accountant professional with over 7 years work experience in finance, accounting and operations management, auditing, account receivables and payables, taxation, budgeting, risk minimization as well as strategy development and implementation with several corporates and organizations ranging from; consulting firms; audit firms; real estate corporates, financial services firms/institutions, tea brokerage firms, events and management firms, private security firms, among others.
He is an innovative leader, respected for formulating strong strategies to grow bottom line, driving millions in profit with integrity through spearheading finance management and business performance for lasting success. Expert in executing team driven process improvements to increase revenue growth, operational efficiency and overall profitability. Proven ability of budgeting and budget management and facilitating corporate and subsidiary operations performance, benchmarking and acquisition analysis.
He has attained a number of accreditations and awards inclusive of emerging among the KASNEB winners. Edwin has for long time possessed good leadership skills in a number of capacities inclusive of Currently a Board Director at KCA University Alumni Board; previously held the Student Chairman role while undertaking his CPA studies at Star College of Management Studies; nevertheless, assumed the role of Student Council Member2008 at St. Mathias Busia Secondary School while undertaking his ‘O’ Level certifications.
He is currently a Liaison Officer and Trainer with Hedge Africa (A management consulting and training firm). He always impacts positively the lives of those he always interacts with. He spends his free time reading motivational books and business journals and adventure. Edwin is an elected board member of the Alumni Association of KCA University (AAKCAU) and is the Chairman of the Events and Mobilization Committee and a member of Finance & Strategy Committee.
