On 13th June 2019, the AAKCAU organized a joint forum at Nairobi Safari Club for the alumni and the part-time students from the CBD / Monrovia campus. The theme for the event was “Setting yourself apart”. Again, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Noah Midamba, who is a great supporter of the alumni association, presided over the event. His words of encouragement are always an inspiration to those who hear him.
The guest speaker was Dr. David Muturi, the immediate former CEO at KIM, former dean KCAU and a leading management consultant. He spoke candidly about his journey to the top. He emphasized how paying attention to the last few lines of one’s job description is what will most likely get you promoted. He also reiterated the importance of networking.
